  • During sandhyas mind is more easily controlled, or it becomes more disturbed.

  • There are times when Vedas should not be studied, but this does not apply to repetition, recitation at yajnas etc.

  • Brahmana should rather die with his knowledge than impart it to unqualified people.

  • Of a Western and Indian scholar of similar achievements, Indian is higher, because the science is more complex. Transcendental knowledge is still above that.
  • Even people who are more respectable will respect other people with respectable qualities.
  • The way is made for king, snataka, bridegroom, carrier of a burden, person above 90. Of them snataka and king are the most honored, and of them snataka.
