There is higher levels of dealing with Kṛṣṇa than bothering with material facility, or anxieties or other thing, but if you don’t go to Him, where are you going to go? Then where is the Kṛṣṇa consciousness? So it seems, “Oh, yeah, no, it’s Māyā, so I won’t go to Kṛṣṇa for this.” Great. But then where are you going to go? Depend upon yourself? Then you are the lord? You are the doer? You are the cause?
It is not based on spiritual values. No one should fool themselves on this. It is based purely on social values, modern social values, that the women should be dīkṣā-gurus.
Unless you can identify the quality of Kṛṣṇa that you are looking for, then you can’t even see what is the connection. Because the point is is, it is not the game. The game is just a medium for that quality.
We poor grihasthas who are meant to enjoy, it’s our birthright to enjoy, we are not enjoying! And these nonsense sannyāsīs, they are getting all the enjoyment!
Let’s say, you are going to hand-write a letter. You scribble it out, then as soon as you finish scribbling it, you just stick it in an envelope, seal it and send it, right?
The roughest class of men in actual practice and theory knows perfectly how to deal with a woman, and their life is dependent upon it. But when they go home, they don’t deal with the wife like that, and therefore their marriage has trouble.
