The following are lecture notes briefly delineating its contents.

  • Why or why not does Krishna give material facilities.
  • Even demons are attracted to aspects of Krishna, but it just gets lower and lower.
  • 05:20 All words describe Krishna

  • 12:00 Sun dynasty is prominent and it is mostly described in the shastras
  • Wonder means there is not much intimacy. Wonder is in sambandha
  • 15:00 Modern education had difficulty understanding Vedas, because Vedic knowledge is based on relationships
  • 15:50 All activities are present in abhideya. Explanation of catur-vyuha
  • Field, inspiration, intelligence don’t mean much unless they are applied. The result is only gained through application, therefore Vasudeva is prominent. But in establishing the environment, Sankarshana is prominent. All Vaikuntha murtis expand from Him. Balarama operates the existence, Krishna performs pastimes within it.
  • 20:00 Grammatical explanation of Krishna’s supreme position.
    Abhideya is the central feature, but still all three of them are not different. Breaking them apart helps us to develop detachment.
  • 29:20 Krishna only interacts by His internal potency. Even the universal form was shown by internal potency

  • 47:30 Pure devotional service means we are engaged in activities of karma, jnana etc, but we understand that there is nothing to gain from that engagement
  • 51:30 Mayavadis, according to their own philosophy, should fast. Devotees are cooking and eating to please Krishna.
  • 53:00 One should deal properly with the waiter, this is a form of respecting the Lord
  • Irresponsible bachelors have much to think of.
