Appreciation by H.G. Tapas Prabhu
H.H. Bhaktividyā Pūrṇa Svāmī at ISKCON Chowpatty circa 2010

H.G. Tapas Prabhu: I would first of all appreciate the consistency of your preaching for many, many years. And I was thinking about Rādhānātha Mahārāja, he has also had a certain emphasis, priority, which he has consistently preached for 30 years, as long as I have known about. And I see the same thing in you, and together all you very empowered, sincere servant of Śrīla Prabhupāda is contributing different aspects of the whole picture of the whole knowledge, the body of knowledge that Śrīla Prabhupāda has given. Unless somebody consistently preaches over a long time, and that is very necessary, like Śrīla Prabhupāda has written 60 books, and many times similar things are repeated, and we need to hear this, like I can see I have heard seminars from you now quite a few years, and it is necessary to hear over and over again that it sinks in, and I see this potency of... It is easier to be attracted to Kṛṣṇa than to leave Māyā, so I very much appreciate that you have... Your ability to remove simply material conceptions, which we have because we have grown up in an actually demoniac civilization with all kinds of creative misconceptions, which actually are weeds. It looks, sometimes it looks like the bhakti-latā, or devotional, but it is actually weeds. And it takes an expert to separate those weeds from the real plant. And you have done a great service in this regard, to help us free from this, what Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura called ancient and modern prejudices, which is an aspect of asat-saṅga. Sat-saṅga is not just to move together with devotees, but it is to remove concepts, which are not Kṛṣṇa conscious, which may look Kṛṣṇa conscious, but which are not. And we need the help of an expert, as a swan can separate the milk from the mixture of milk and water. So thank you very much for that! Hare Kṛṣṇa!
