“[For kshatriyas] protection is the underlying principle. If fighting is the main thing, then that means  that’s not a kshatriya, that’s a kshatriya’s assistant. So much of the time like bodyguards and that, they are actually not kshatriyas, they are artists whose art is martial. So they can assist those who actually understand the principle of protection. They like to fight, but they don’t know who and when they should fight.  So someone who does know, tells them. Otherwise they just make trouble.”
