“This [Vedanta] psychology is not something separate from what you are used to hearing. It’s just that it’s not necessarily taken as its own topic. Psychology, basically, it’s based in the root, the psyche, means is actually the soul. But in your modern psychology and philosophies they can’t actually tell the difference between the soul and the mind, they are taken as the same. So basically the study is to be able to make this difference. Because if this difference is made, then we are able to deal nicely with our own personal development.”
