The following are lecture notes briefly delineating its contents.

  • When we add Krishna, we understand how what we are already doing is connected to Krishna.
  • 05:00 Idea that spiritual is "different" comes from mayavadis.

  • Material world is a reflection.
  • 14:00 Vedic culture is the natural lifesyle in the spiritual world.
  • 20:00 Opulence may come in form of knowledge, of friendship etc.
  • We think happiness depends on material facility, but it depends on Krishna's satisfaction.
  • 29:45 If we appreciate all aspects of Krishna as given in the Catuh-sloki, we will be able to understand Him, but not by mental speculation
  • 30:45 Devotee in the mode of ignorance thinks himself superior to other devotees due to material qualifications
  • Realization comes from knowledge combined with application. Some devotees may have very little knowledge, but if they apply it in their service will get the realization.
  • Parampara is the standard by which we judge all knowledge.
  • In arguing, we are trying to reveal Krishna through the opposing person's presentation.
  • Argument is not going to reveal the Lord, but discussion with a sincere attempt to understand, then Krishna may reveal Himself.
  • Krishna reveals Himself through interaction with His internal potency.
  • Even Krishna is amazed by Himself.
  • Krishna tastes the depth of rasa through interaction with the devotees.
  • Arjuna glorifies Krishna, addressing all the doubts that conditioned souls may have.
  • Animals think their reflection is something different, seeing the reflection of material world materialists think it's separate.
  • Krishna's opulences are described, so we can remember Him, not so that we have more knowledge.
  • We have to learn to see Krishna beyond His opulences, because otherwise in 3-4 yrs we become expert in the activities of devotional service and then get distracted by something else.
  • Even in Krishna's pastimes hearing and chanting about Him are prominent.
